Between Charlize Theron And Genevieve Nnaji

GENEVIEVE NNAJI
Genevieve Nnaji is a household name in most homes in Africa for her exciting and thrilling performances in Nigerian movies and she has won the African Academy of Movies Award for the Best Actress in Africa. But, can you compare her to Charlize Theron the sultry South African World Class actress celebrated in the Western world?
Of course, Charlize Theron does not know who is Genevieve Nnaji. But Genevieve Nnaji knows who is Charlize Theron. But can we call Charlize Theron an African Beauty?
Well, an African beauty is an African beauty no matter the colour, class or creed.

GENEVIEVE NNAJI
Genevieve Nnaji's most popular movies include "Honey 1& Honey 2","For Better For Worse 1& 2" and over 200 other titles. But there is no official filmography. Because, even Genevieve Nnaji cannot recall all the movies she acted. And you cannot blame her. The Nigerian movies are mass produced and what Charlize Theron earns in one year could be used to produce over 30 Nigerian movies within 10 months.

Charlize Theron is the fantasy of Genevieve Nnaji and the ultimate dream of every actress coming up in Nigerian Nollywood, Indian Bollywood and the other woods.

I like this write-up and comparism of Theron and Nnaji. Just out of the head, can Nnaji ever make the same money? Can Nollywood bridge the gap of Hollywood or at least do better than the Bollywood from India?

By the way, the blog is great. keep it coming.

I don't really appreciate this comparison between Charlize and Genevieve. Genevevieve is a beginner and a black african girl. Charlize is a former actress, she is white, and even now she's already got the american nationality (shame from being african, may be). I don't think that Genevieve want to be in hollywood. In Africa, we need to build our own cinema world and our own rules like the indian guys. There's no need to be in hollywood if you earned your living beeing an actor, and if you're recognized in your country, in Africa, and even in India (yes, the chinese people also like nigerean movies!).

This a beginning of something (you should read the history of hollywood to understand this), a great beginning , and I like it for the African Cinema!

Genevieve Nnaji does not do competition, and she is not whet ever you think she is OK!!!.and do not compare her white actress because she is not. if you really wanna know!! I will tell you. she is black. and if you do not appreciate or like her and her job, well sorry for you.the sad thing is we do appreciate her and we love her and her job as well. you don't have to like her and do not compare her with whet ever you call actress, because she is Genevieve, she does thing on her on way and she will never wanna be like charlize because she is special in different way that charlize can not be, and charlize can not be like her because she has different way of doing her job. so do not mix thing. you should think more a bout you and your future.thanks
